Kayak/Canoe Launch Regulations: (March 20 through October)
Personal kayaks and canoes only may be launched at no extra charge during regular boat rental hours only. A Kayak/Canoe Launching Permit must be obtained at the Boathouse Retail Center before launching.

Bank fishing is permitted off the south shore only.

Fishing is not permitted off the gazebo or boat docks.

Each person fishing is limited to two poles.

Persons possessing fish over the daily limit may be charged with a minor misdemeanor.

Cleaning of fish on Voice of America Park property is prohibited.

Throw nets and lines are prohibited.

Use of game fish as bait is prohibited.

No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the Park.

A person operating a rental boat must be at least 12 years of age. An individual 16 years of age or older must be on board at all times.

Operating a boat carelessly, heedlessly, or without due caution that in anyway endangers another person, boat or property is prohibited.

No boat may be operated within or through any area where boats are not permitted.

Swimming from boats is not permitted.

Operating a boat while under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs is illegal.

Standing or walking on a moving boat is prohibited.

Children under 12 years of age and all non swimmers must wear a personal flotation device (life jacket) of the appropriate size when riding in any boat.

exceeding the number of people or weight limits listed on the capacity plate is prohibited.

Littering is prohibited.
2010 Fish stocking will begin March 20 with 200 lb. of Rainbow Trout. Additional trout will be stocked on March 27 and April 3. Check back for stocking dates for other species.
