Wooly Mammoths and Dinosaur Eggs

Friday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. at RentschlerForest Preserve in the Cummins Shelter.  Learn about wooly mammoths in ButlerCounty and then search for dinosaur eggs!

 

Wetland Wade

Friday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m. at RentschlerForest Preserve in the Cummins Shelter.  Discover what’s in a wetland and then cool off by eating a glacier!

 

Indian Givers

Friday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at RentschlerForest Preserve in the Cummins Shelter.  Ohio’s forests were “medicine chests, grocery and toy stores” to the native people.  Investigate some of these amazing products. 

 

Mud Mania!

Friday, August 15 at 10:00 at Rentschler Forest Preserve, next to the Ranger Headquarters.  Celebrate the conclusion of a healthy summer with our annual mud obstacle course.  Be prepared to get MUDDY!!

 

Mud Mania! – Soggy Doggy

Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 a.m. until noon.  This popular program has been extended an extra day and includes the family pet.  If your kids and dog like to get down and dirty, this is the place for you!  Dogs must have current shots and be on a leash.  The Pet Mobile for the Butler County Humane Society will be on hand with some of their live friends that are up for adoption.  Bring the family, a picnic lunch and enjoy at great day in the park!
