Park Facts:
This 135-acre scenic natural area has been described as one of Ohio’s finest small parks. About one mile of Indian Creek flows through the park, between heavily wooded hillsides and bluffs with rock outcroppings, separating the property into distinct areas accessed by two different entrances. The park’s varied landscape is covered by 26 species of native trees and a wide variety of wildflowers in season, while offering opportunities for fossil hunting and other nature study activities. The Indian Mound Trail leads visitors to a reconsructed Native American earthwork. Picnic sites may be found throughout the grounds, and a covered picnic shelter may be reserved for group outings.
Hours:
Lower park area with entrance from St.Rt. 732--Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to dark.
