Park Safety
Park Officer Department
MetroParks of Butler County has an officer staff that provides safety and security throughout the park district. MetroParks officers are certified peace officers. The department consists of a number of full-time, service, and part-time officers. The department also employs safety aides, who perform motor vehicle permit sales and assist visitors by providing park information as needed.
To Dispatch A Park Officer
For non-emergency assistance, MetroParks Officers can be dispatched by calling the Butler County Sheriff's Department at (513) 785-1300 and ask for a park officer to be sent to your location. In case of an emergency, please dial 911.
