JULY 20 (MARK YOUR CALENDAR) - Crazy Cardboard Regatta at Voice of America MetroPark-many hands are needed for this high energy family fun day!

HELP WITH PROGRAMMING - SUMMER SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:


Little Spuds Day Camp- June17th & 18th - Help with ands-on farm life, gardening, recreational games, live animal demonstrations, songs, crafts & snacks for preschoolers at Chrisholm MetroPark.

"Growing Strong", an after-school and summer gardening program (through-out the growing season) at the Middletown Community Gardens (for youth and teens). Two volunteers are needed for each program to help pass out supplies, supervise participants in the garden-and be willing to "get dirty" ;-)! Pick one or more days to help. See event calendar for details.

Mud Mania!-August 9th - Join the fun at Rentschler Forest at the giant mud obstacle course. Help with info tables, registration, children’s activities and at the mud pit.

Welcome! Your MetroParks appreciates and applauds the interests and efforts of volunteers of all ages: individuals, clubs and organizations, companies, students and retirees; and their varied interests: from conservation, fishing, history, music, birds and wildlife to, horseback riding, gardening, biking, sport, photography and natural landscapes. Some volunteers choose their favorite event, trail or park, while others volunteer in programs that span the county. Volunteer just once, or choose a weekly or on-going volunteer experience. The GMRRT bike program scheduled for Saturday, June 15th has been cancelled. Look for more programs in the future.
The "Down on the Farm" Little Spuds Daycamp scheduled for June 17 & 18th at Chrisholm MetroPark has been cancelled. Consider registering for "Flights of Fancy" July 1 & 2 as an alternative.
